• Content you create: Prompts, images you upload or generate, and other content you publish on the platform.
• Activity data: Likes, dislikes, follows, and interactions with posts and creators to power the feed and recommendations.
• Payment and credits: Purchase history and credit balance. Payment processing is handled by Lemon Squeezy; we do not store your full payment card details.
• Technical data: Logs, device and browser information used for security, analytics, and improving the service.

2.2 How we use your information

• Provide, operate, and improve promto.io
• Personalize your feed (e.g. from follows and likes)
• Process purchases and manage your credit balance
• Attribute affiliate commissions to creators when you purchase after using their prompts
• Send service-related communications (e.g. account or payment updates)
• Enforce our terms, prevent abuse, and protect security
• Comply with applicable law and respond to valid legal requests

2.3 Third-party services

• Supabase: Authentication, database, and file storage for accounts and content.
• Lemon Squeezy: Payment processing and affiliate payouts when you buy credits.
• AI image generation: When you generate images, your prompt and related data are sent to our AI provider to produce the image.
• Advertising (Google AdSense): We may show third-party ads. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies. See How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.

2.4 Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies for session management, preferences, affiliate attribution (e.g. to remember which creator's prompt led you to a purchase), and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work if you disable them.

2.5 Data retention and security

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with law, and resolve disputes. We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data; no system is completely secure.

2.6 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data. You can update your profile and account settings on promto.io. If you are in the EEA/UK, you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

3.1 What the app offers

The mobile app is for browsing and discovering prompts. Unlike promto.io, the app does not offer account registration, sign-in, or in-app purchases. Credits, subscriptions, posting, and image generation are only available on the website.

3.2 Information we collect

• On your device only: Theme preference (light/dark), posts you save as favorites, and cached feed or post content for offline browsing. This stays on your device unless you clear app storage or uninstall the app.
• From our servers: When you browse or search, the app loads public posts and metadata from our APIs. We may log standard technical data (e.g. IP address, device type, app version) for security and reliability.
• We do not collect via the app: Account credentials, profile data, payment details, purchase history, credit balance, likes tied to an account, or content you publish.

3.3 How we use your information

• Show feeds, search results, and post details
• Cache content so you can browse offline
• Remember your theme and favorites on your device
• Maintain security and fix technical issues

3.4 Third-party services

The app loads public content from our backend (hosted with Supabase). We do not use Lemon Squeezy, AI generation providers, or advertising partners inside the app itself. If you open promto.io in your browser from the app, the website section of this policy applies to that session.

3.5 Local storage (not cookies)

The app uses on-device storage (not browser cookies) for preferences, favorites, and offline cache. You can remove this data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.

3.6 Data retention and security

Data stored only on your device is deleted when you clear app data or uninstall the app. Server logs from app API requests are retained only as long as needed for security and operations, consistent with our website practices for anonymous technical logs.
